Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce are ready for the holiday season.
Speaking in a new episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, released Wednesday, Nov. 20, the brothers answered a series of questions from fans — including a query about the holidays.
Asked when the appropriate time was to put up a Christmas tree, Jason, 37, said, “I think Thanksgiving has always been the date.”
“In the Kelce household Thanksgiving was the day,” Travis, 35, added, to which Jason said, “Yeah, I mean preferably you put it up on Thanksgiving."
The retired Philadelphia Eagles center, added, “I like the tradition, we’ve never done it at our house, but maybe we’ll actually get it done this year, where after Thanksgiving’s over you put the Christmas tree up. I like that tradition, I think that’s a really good one.”

However, Travis was “pretty sure” they would put up the Christmas tree a few days before, “and then you’d dress the tree.”
“Thanksgiving is definitely the pinnacle day, that’s the start of Christmas season,” Jason said. “I sit here advertising Thanksgiving.”
Meanwhile, Travis expressed that he didn’t want to see Christmas lights at the start of November.
“Don’t do that to me,” he added. The brothers then agreed that Thanksgiving should be able to exist in its own right without being overshadowed by the Christmas season.
