Taylor Swift has inarguably had an incredible year!
The singer kicked off 2024 celebrating her boyfriend Travis Kelce's AFC Championship win in January and it's been up since then. Swift, who has been on her Eras Tour since March 2023 continued to travel and perform for fans this year and managed to snag two more Grammys, seven more VMAs, and release an album, a concert film and a book, all while making time for her friends and family.
From sold-out shows across the globe, to breaking award show records to her sweet relationship with Kelce, the 34-year-old certainly seems to balance it all well.
Below, check out this brief recap of Taylor Swift's epic year.
January: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Show Major PDA
While the singer and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, had kept much of their courtship under the radar, they ended up finding the perfect time to show some PDA: center field, following a massive win for Kelce.
Swift was pictured planting a big kiss on the Kansas Chiefs tight end as the team won the AFC Championship on Jan. 28 and headed to the Super Bowl.
February: Taylor Swift Attends the Grammys
Taylor Swift came to the Grammys to slay.
Not only did the "Cruel Summer" singer stun in a strapless Schiaparelli gown accented with black and white accessories (which — surprise! — was revealed to be an Easter egg), but she also walked away with two trophies at the Feb. 4 show: One for album of the year and the other for best pop vocal album for Midnights.
Swift also used her best pop vocal album acceptance speech to announce the release of her 14th album, The Tortured Poets Department.
March: The Eras Tour Comes to Disney+
The Eras Tour Concert Film premiered on Disney+ on March 14 and was an instant hit. According to a report by Deadline, the movie broke records by earning 4.6 million views just three days after it dropped and became the platform's most-watched music film of all time.
April: TTPD Comes Out
April was a big month for Swifties around the globe as the singer dropped her highly anticipated album The Tortured Poets Department. In typical Taylor fashion, she later surprised fans, announcing that the record was actually a double album.
"It’s a 2am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album. ✌️" she announced on her Instagram.
"I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second installment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.
