Taylor Swift is reportedly looking to take a well-deserved break from the public eye.
Following the conclusion of her highly successful Eras Tour, the famous singer is said to be considering a year-long hiatus to focus on her personal life, particularly her blossoming romance with NFL star Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, who celebrated Thanksgiving Day with each other's families, are also reportedly open to getting engaged but "aren't rushing it."
Taylor Swift Plans Long Break After Eras Tour Conclusion
Swift plans to take a lengthy break from anything work-related after she wraps up her record-breaking Eras World Tour next weekend.
The "Blank Space" hitmaker has been on the road for nearly two years, having kicked off her tour in March 2023. However, she's set to host the last leg of her show on December 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia, after which she'll take a rest.
"Taylor's exhausted," a source told US Weekly. "She's excited for some relaxation and downtime."
Swift is reportedly setting her sights on staying in Kansas City with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as she seeks to bolster their romance following their scarce time together because of her busy touring schedule.
"Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while," the insider shared.
"They want to do 'normal things' as a couple," another source added. "Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that's when] the little nuances about someone's personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other."
Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Aren't 'Rushing' To Get Engaged
Even though Swift wants to catch a breath, she's reportedly already conceptualizing her next album and potential tour. However, the chances of things picking up steam depend on how things go with Kelce.
"A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis," the second source told the news outlet. "She's told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life."
The "Fortnight" singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are said to be open to solidifying their romance, with the insider saying they "love to be engaged" but "aren't rushing it."
"Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style," the insider shared. "That's just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever."
Swift is also planning to celebrate her 35th birthday on December 13 and the end of her tour in New York City.
"She loves a quaint party with her closest friends," the first source said, adding, "Taylor is excited about turning 35. She knows she's accomplished so much."
The Singer Is Planning A Family Get Together This Christmas
According to the news outlet, the "Bad Blood" singer hasn't omitted her and Kelce's family from her plans.
The source shared that Swift plans to host her and Kelce's family over Christmas, further strengthening their relationship.
It comes after the Grammy winner and her family, including mom Andrea Swift and dad Scott Swift, hosted the Kelces for Thanksgiving at her home in Nashville, Tenn.
A source told Page Six that it was "really important" for them to celebrate the special day together after missing out on the chance to celebrate it last year due to her tour schedule.
"It was really important to Taylor and Travis to spend Thanksgiving together this year since they've never been able to before," the insider explained. "They knew it would take some coordination, but they're so grateful they were able to pull it off."
Travis Kelce Is 'Very Happy' In His Relationship
Although Swift and Kelce keep details of their romance close to their chest, the football star recently quipped that he and his brother, Jason, are "very happy" in their relationship with Swift and Kylie Kelce.
Kelce made the quip in a November episode of their new "Heights Hotline" podcast, stating that although he and his brother may be "non-experts" as regards dating and relationships, they are "two [people] very happy in relationships" with their significant others.
"I shouldn't say that we're not experts, we're kinda killing it," Jason chimed in, per People Magazine.
Swift and Kelce were previously dragged into speculations that their romance was nearing its end when a "breakup contract" surfaced online, detailing a PR strategy for their fallout.
However, Kelce's PR team, Full Scope, swiftly issued a statement denying the authenticity of the documents.
Travis Kelce Recently Came Under Pressure From Fans To Propose To Taylor Swift
Kelce recently came under serious pressure from his girlfriend's fans after commenting on an engagement post by fellow footballer Josh Allen, who recently popped the question to actress Hailee Steinfeld.
On November 29, Steinfeld and Allen shared stunning photos of their engagement on Instagram, to the shock of their followers.
The photos featured Steinfeld and Allen in front of a floral arch, with the quarterback kneeling down, while the "Bumblebee" star leaned down to kiss him after seemingly saying yes to his proposal.
The couple was flooded with congratulatory messages from friends and fans in the comment section. However, Kelce's comment received the most attention.
The Chiefs' tight end wrote "Congratulations!!!" along with hand emojis, and this prompted fans of Swift to push him to pop the question to the singer.
One person said, "You next brother," while another fan commented, "Aww yeah, so cute!! You next."
A third Swiftie noted, "You're next!!!! 12/13/2024 let's gooooo," implying that Kelce would propose to Swift on her birthday this December.
