Sarah Jessica Parker and Carrie Bradshaw really do have a thing or two in common — they both love a sparkly bag.

Over the weekend, the And Just Like That… actress broke out her Saturday best for the SNL 50th Anniversary Special. She had two accessories on her arm, one of whom was her husband Matthew Broderick, and the other, a sparkly crossbody bag that’s almost as iconic as Bradshaw’s Fendi baguette (which was promptly stolen in an alleyway, along with her Manolo Blahniks).

The biggest difference between the two glittery bags comes down to functionality: Parker’s was a crossbody bag, or in other words, a hands-free, easy-to-carry accessory that can be strapped on and forgotten about. It’s not going to get lost at weddings or social gatherings, and it doesn’t need to be held by hand for hours on end like Bradshaw’s baguette.
