Lisa Barlow is turning 50 years old — but she knows age is just a number!
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star told PEOPLE at Bravo Fan Fest last month that while she was initially hesitant to reveal her age, she is now embracing the milestone birthday on Dec. 14.
“Funny story, I was at the reunion and I was wearing the purple dress [from] season two and I was the first one to sit on the couch and Andy Cohen said, ‘You look great. How old are you?’” she recalled. “And I thought he was gonna be like, ‘Oh my God, you look amazing for your age.’ So I was like, told him a number and was like, I'm this age and then it went public so I was kind of shocked and sad.”
However, the reality star teased that if she were to have a big birthday, she would “have a big party and would be going on a trip to Turks and Caicos.”

“I think it's like a different generation,” she explained. “I think you can shave 10 to 15 years off your birthday and that's like how you feel. I think it's all about how you feel and everything.”
She teased, “We feel 40 and we don't talk about how old we're turning.”
The Vida Tequila co-founder admitted that while she is “really turning 50 this year ... I don't feel like I even look it or feel it. It's so weird and my best friend is 55 turning 56. And I'm like, you look like you're 30.”
She added she and her pal are still “fun and cool.”
The mother of two went on to praise the stars of Bravo’s looks and revealed that she has stayed away from one popular cosmetic procedure. “Look at everyone on Bravo,” she shared. “They're all beautiful, beautiful women and I'm just proud of the fact that there's no filler or Botox in my face.” Sergi Alexander/Bravo via Getty Lisa Barlow at Bravo Fan Fest on Saturday, November 23, 2024
Barlow previously shut down the rumors of cosmetic work during a fan Q&A on Instagram in Oct. 2021. "Any work you've had done on your face? You're gorgeous," one fan asked, per Bravo.com, and the reality responded, "Nope!"
She further opened up about her love of glam in an interview with the New York Post in October.
“Yeah, I do glam every single day,” she revealed at the time. “I have two girls that are on retainer that only work with me. I have my favorite hair people that do my hair only for special occasions."
She added: "I think I’m really good at doing my own hair, so I only do the special occasion for hair — which when we’re filming is like every day."
