A total of 96 players started the tournament this year. The prize pot will see £2.5million be put up for grabs, with the winner taking home £500,000. In terms of the 96 players, the top-ranked 32 in the world automatically qualified and entered at the second round. Another 32 were made up of the PDC Tour Order of Merit, and the rest are qualifiers. Each match in the first round saw a qualifier take on a PDC Order of Merit player. PDC World Darts Championship 2024/25: Tournament format

The draw for the event was made at 1pm on Monday, November 25.

A total of 96 players started the tournament this year.

The prize pot will see £2.5million be put up for grabs, with the winner taking home £500,000.

In terms of the 96 players, the top-ranked 32 in the world automatically qualified and entered at the second round.
