Darren Till reacts to viral video of Tommy Fury at local fun run
A wild video of Tommy Fury circulated on Saturday that triggered a cheeky reaction from rival Darren Till. Fury shared on his Instagram story a video of himself full-on pulling the pin on the final stretch at a local park run. Fury posted this video on his Instagram page – causing plenty of laughs from boxing fansInstagram: @TommyFury And Till couldn’t help but refer back to a comment that previously caused their fight to be cancelled at the start of December. The boxer and former UFC mixed martial artist were supposed to face each other on January 18 at a Misfits Boxing event in Manchester. But, only weeks after it had been announced, Fury pulled out of the event. Both men met at a press conference in November which descended into chaos, although all the mayhem was now for nothing. Till’s remarks aimed at Tommy upset the boxer’s father, John Fury, who threw water over Till and caused a scuffle. Before the presser, Till had threatened to break the rules and kick Fury in the head if he was losing. Till insisted it was just pre-fight trash talk, but Fury took his comment seriously and it was enough for him to step away from the clash. Fury took to Instagram at the time and referred to Till’s ‘stupid MMA tactics.’ And he couldn’t resist another dig at the boxer after he posted a video of him running hell for leather on the final stretch of a local 10k run. “I only said I’d kick him in the head and he’s still running,” Till said on X. tommyfury - InstagramFury shared his achievement on Instagram but it soon went viral[/caption] View Tweet: https://t.co/gDwOG1mujw Till couldn’t resist a dig at Fury after the boxer pulled out of their fightX Till told talkSPORT at the time he had signed a disclaimer with Misfits which meant he would forfeit his whole purse if he kicked Fury.
