Sosing was due to make his second appearance at the World Darts Championship having qualified through the PDC Asian Championship. He went down to fellow countryman Lourence Ilagan 7-3 in the final but picked up £5,500 and a spot in darts’ showpiece event for his troubles. It was also Sosing’s second consecutive final at the same event, cementing his status as one of the biggest rising stars on the Asian circuit.
