Lamar Odom Calls Khloé Kardashian 'My Wife' During Awkward Reunion — but She Says His 'Words Are Empty'

The former NBA player seemed "scared" when he and his ex-wife reunited for the first time in nine years during the season 6 premiere of 'The Kardashians'

Lamar Odom had some interesting things to say when he finally reunited with Khloé Kardashian after nearly a decade.

On the premiere episode of The Kardashians season 6, Odom, 45, arrived at Malika Haqq's house with a bouquet of roses and champagne as he prepared to see Kardashian, 40, for the first time since their 2016 divorce.

While she said she didn't "have a lot of emotion" about the reunion, Odom was clearly in his feels. "I haven't seen you in so long, you make me nervous," he told his ex-wife.

"He's visibly uncomfortable, he's nervous, he's sweating," Kardashian said of Odom's appearance in a confessional. "He seems scared."

Kardashian decided to see the former NBA player in order to return some of his belongings that she'd discovered during a recent move, including his Sixth Man of the Year award and a custom-made diamond necklace she'd given him.

"Khloé, you are the best," Odom said when she gave him the necklace, which had three pairs of angel wings on it, each representing a family member of his who had died.

There were two other large boxes for him to take, and inside one, he found some of his Team USA gear and a set of his rings, including what he called a wedding ring.

"My wife is the s---," Odom said after opening the trunk.

"Okay, calm down," Kardashian said in response, before elaborating more on how she felt about his comment in a confessional. "Him calling me his wife? I mean, words are empty."

Odom admitted to feeling "out of body a little bit" being in Kardashian's presence again, as he told her, "I took you through a lot, huh."

"I can't say it was the easiest time," she responded bluntly.

"No, not for me either," he agreed. "Yeah, I f---ed up. With you."

He then told Kardashian, "I love you for trying your hardest with me. That love — I don't think it'll ever go away. I know it won't."

Just as the former couple started to dig into their history, the episode cut the conversation short, teasing more to come on next week's episode with a "To Be Continued."
