Joe Burrow arrives in garish outfit ahead of a special never been done before Monday Night Football broadcast
Joe Burrow has arrived at Jerry World. The Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback has made his way to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas ahead of his showdown against the Dallas Cowboys, on the stage of Monday Night Football. Monday’s outfit is no exception. Burrow has spoken in the past about his interest in the world of fashion and how he takes pride in what he chooses to wear. And that he isn’t afraid to take a swing when it comes to clothing. Look no further than his participation over the summer in Vogue’s 2024 Paris Fashion Week. Burrow walked the runway in a suit that had an open back. “I’ve always loved clothes, but never really understood the industry, so I wanted to learn more,” Burrow told Vogue. Fast forward a couple months, and it seems Burrow has learned a lot. He is now taking his unique taste to a special type of primetime stage. This isn’t a normal MNF broadcast. GettyBurrow walked the runaway at the Vogue World 2024[/caption] Along with ESPN’s usual broadcast, of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, there will be alternate telecast through the lens of The Simpsons. ‘The Simpsons Funday Football’ as it is being called, will include live animation and graphics as if the game was taking place in an episode of The Simpsons. A different twist on a game, that before the season looked to be a battle of Super Bowl contenders, but has since turned into a battle between two pumpkins. The 4-8 Bengals are looking to save what little left they have of their season, with a win against the 5-7 Cowboys. Two teams with big expectations heading into the year, are now both left equally disappointed as the season nears its’ end. However, Cincinnati’s struggles are not because of Burrow. The franchise quarterback, leads the league with 30 passing touchdowns heading into Monday night, and by the time the game finishes, will lead the league in yards as well. Burrow and the Cincinnati offense own some of the highest marks across the league, which makes it so mind-boggling as to why they only have four wins at this point in the season. To find the answer, one only has to look to the other side of the ball, where the defense has been downright awful. As great as the offense has been, the defense has been as equally as bad. Ultimately, it will go down as a lost season for Cincinnati, along with Burrow’s pregame outfits. The only thing left to do, is watch Homer and Bart Simpson play some football.
