A short flight became the stage for a viral sibling showdown.
Brandon Doll-Hawley took the opportunity to rub in his sister Brooklyn’s face that he had a first class seat on the same flight as her as they traveled from northern California to visit their dad in Oregon.
The video, which went viral on TikTok, shows Brandon cheekily explaining his mischievous plan. “I’m on the same flight as my sister today as we both go to Oregon,” he says. “The only difference is I’m in first class and she’s not. I don’t want her to feel bad about it, but I do want her to recognize the difference, so we’re going to try to hammer that in today.”

Brandon even dressed up in a suit for the trek. “It’s a costume because I shouldn’t be in first class. I just got lucky and my dad had the mileage," he admits in the clip.
The idea for this playful prank came after Brandon learned his sister would be joining him on the flight. “Initially, we didn’t know for sure if my sister was gonna make the trip or not,” he exclusively tells PEOPLE. “My dad agreed to buy my flight, and since I think part of the hilarity of the whole bit was that it’s such a short flight, but the first class ticket was next to nothing.”
Brandon’s commitment to the bit was evident as he arrived at the airport fully ready to embrace his role as a first class passenger. He approached Brooklyn with a “snobby look,” he recalls, telling her, “I see you’re dressed for coach,” to which she burst into laughter.

The reaction was no surprise to Brandon, as he describes their relationship as one filled with humor and playful teasing. He emphasizes that Brooklyn was a “very good sport” about the whole situation, though she did jokingly complain to their father upon arrival.
If the roles were reversed, Brandon believes he’d receive the same treatment — to some extent. “I think it would be somewhat similar. I don’t know that she would do the whole dress-up thing, but I think for sure she would be trying to rub it in my face," he says.
The video clearly resonated with a wide audience, especially those with siblings. “It’s actually so funny. The people who have siblings, they’re all like ‘This is absolutely what I would’ve done,’ ” Brandon shares.
Some TikTok users even provided suggestions to Brandon. “I would’ve asked the flight attendant to make an announcement,” writes one. Another says, “You should have sent her a drink from first class.”
