‘Worried for him’ – Pat McAfee tweet goes viral as Michael Cole’s watch offers concerning alert after Travis Scott moment

WWE Raw made its long-awaited Netflix debut on Monday night – and announcer Michael Cole failed to contain his delight. The card was stacked for the January 6 show, with legends including The Rock, John Cena and The Undertaker all making appearances at the Intuit Dome in California. The stars were out as WWE arrived on NetflixGetty Fans were also treated to a title change as Rhea Ripley finally reclaimed the Women’s World Championship by defeating Liv Morgan, while CM Punk triumphed over Seth Rollins in the main event of a historic Raw premiere. Cole was on commentary alongside Pat McAfee as all the action unfolded, but it was perhaps the appearance of rapper Travis Scott what he enjoyed the most. The musician escorted fan-favourite Jey Uso to the ring ahead of a high-stakes match against Drew McIntyre, and they had the crowd bouncing with Uso’s now-iconic ‘Yeet’ move. Even Cole and McAfee were ‘Yeeting’ on top of the commentary desk, throwing their arms up and down like everybody else in the arena. Amusing footage also showed the 56-year-old announcer ‘dapping up’ Scott as he stood ringside. WWE then cut to a commercial break, allowing Cole to chill out for a moment. “I had to get down, I about had a heart attack, but Pat McAfee is back on the table with Travis Scott and Jey Uso,” he said as Raw returned. “This is a party here tonight.” In fact, Cole partied so hard, that his Apple Watch sent him a rather concerning notification. He received an alert with the words, ‘It looks like you’ve taken a hard fall,’ and the option to make an emergency call.
