Panic Attack has his first run for Dan Skelton but is coming back off the back of 649 days away. Hard to back her on first run back but certainly should be considered later this season when she’s not as fresh. Arclight is amongst the favourites but has to defy being top-weight by quite a distance. She’s also pulled up in her last two contests including on her first run this season in October. Four-year-old Love Tree is drifting considerably now and is also tough to back as a result. Not Now Nathaniel has potential as a small each-way punt given her latest run was behind not one but two subsequent winners; Navajo Indy and Gamesters Guy. She was fourth of 14 that day and although she was over 13 lengths behind, it was softer ground than she would have wanted and is likely only going to improve from that. Dreaming Blue There are some great chasers involved in the next at Ludlow but there’s a few that haven’t gone well in the last few races, either being pulled up a few times in a row or placed well out of the running in the last few. Which ultimately does leave the front two in the market at quite a nice value. Frenchy Du Large is coming back off 572 days away so that leaves Dreaming Blue who placed a close third behind the improving Beau Balko at Wincanton on seasonal debut last month. He was also close up behind Tedley who has also improved greatly recently and he went second again next time out at Newbury to help boost the form too. Dreaming Blue has more to offer now, dropped 1lb for that run and is likely to be on the up given her performances at the latter end of last season. Not Now Nathaniel

The mares’ handicap hurdle is a great starting point at Ludlow with nine runners, with plenty of chances each-way.

Dreaming Blue

There are some great chasers involved in the next at Ludlow but there’s a few that haven’t gone well in the last few races, either being pulled up a few times in a row or placed well out of the running in the last few.
