It read: “Vasyl Lomachenko has officially announced his RETIREMENT at the age of 36. “Lomachenko had held multiple world championships at 3 weight classes from featherweight to lightweight. “We wish him the best for whatever he is doing in the future.” The tweet went extremely viral on Twitter, with many fans reacting to the news. Incredibly, governing body WBC announced the career move themselves with a post on some of their social medias. It read: “The Matrix is everywhere. “Loma will be always remembered as one of the greatest Ukrainian boxers of all time. “Olympic gold medal winner, he became world champion in only his second professional fight, crowned in three weight divisions, possessing lightning speed, precision, balance, poise and brilliance.
