In the latest episode of their "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce" podcast, which dropped on Wednesday, November 20, the Kelce brothers had some fun answering fan questions.

The episode covered everything from football to their personal lives, with one of the highlights being a discussion about Travis and Jason Kelce's holiday traditions.

When asked about the right time to put up a Christmas tree, Jason responded, “I think Thanksgiving has always been the date.”

Travis agreed, adding, “In the Kelce household, Thanksgiving was the day,” to which Jason replied, “Yeah, I mean, preferably you put it up on Thanksgiving.”

The retired NFL player then shared, “I like the tradition, we’ve never done it at our house, but maybe we’ll actually get it done this year, where after Thanksgiving’s over you put the Christmas tree up. I like that tradition. I think that’s a really good one.”

“Thanksgiving is really the start of [the] Christmas season,” Jason added, to which Travis replied, “We would have the Christmas [tree] already up, though."

Jason chimed in, “No, but you got the Christmas tree; you’ve bought it already, but it hasn’t been put up.”

However, Travis claimed they would put up the Christmas tree a few days before Thanksgiving, “and then you’d dress the tree" after.

The Kelce brothers' revelation comes after their mom, Donna Kelce, said they have some exciting plans for Thanksgiving this year.

During her appearance on the "TODAY" show on November 14, Donna shared how she would be spending the holiday, revealing that Thanksgiving will revolve around football, as her son Travis is set to play the day after the holiday. Donna mentioned, “I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always the holidays. It's football's family.”

While she didn't have big dinner plans lined up, Donna said, "Not that anything's planned. I think we're just going to be at the football game." She also addressed whether Travis's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, would join the family for the celebration, noting, “I don't think so. She's kind of busy right now. She still has her tour to do.”

The Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to play the Las Vegas Raiders on November 29, 2024, and though Swift has a break during this time, it's unclear if she will attend.

Travis Kelce was seen spending Thanksgiving last year solo while his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, stayed in Brazil.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end was spotted driving alone around Kansas City, Missouri, on Thursday in a Rolls-Royce, according to a video obtained by TMZ. During the drive, Travis seemed to be singing along to music, with the outing reportedly taking place near his new $6 million mansion.

While Travis stayed silent on social media about his holiday plans at the time, he had shared on his "New Heights" podcast that he would be dining alone, opting for fast food. "I’ll be feasting on KFC because I won’t have anybody here," he revealed.

Meanwhile, his brother, Jason Kelce, invited him to celebrate Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania with his family, teasing Travis for being a “super picky” eater.

Last year, Donna admitted she’s “not a good cooker,” but she did mention that the family’s Thanksgiving menu would still include a variety of delicious baked goods.

“I bake cinnamon rolls. They’re always my favorite, my go-to. I only can do it a couple [of] times a year ’cause they’re so sugary,” she told Us Weekly. “So, we’ve got rolls, we have muffins, cookies, things like that, and I usually do that in the season.”

Beyond the food, Donna shared with Us that her family often spends the holidays solving puzzles and playing board games. She reminisced, “During Christmas, years ago, we used to [play] Mario Bros. video games. We would say, ‘OK, it’s your turn. You see how far you can get,’ and then we’d do a tag team.”

Donna acknowledged that the holidays can be a "rough" time for many, especially "when your kids are in sports," as is the case with her sons.

“You’re not home a lot during the holidays,” she explained. “We would travel a lot. We’d be in Florida, St. Augustine, visiting relatives, Disney World, Marco Island, and Fort Myers. [Jason and Travis’] grandparents and uncles were in Florida, so we constantly went to Florida for the holidays.”

While Jason Kelce retired from the NFL last year, Travis Kelce is still playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.
