The Dn8 expands that design outward, stretching the Dynamic Air along the full length of the foot through eight air chambers that make direct contact with the ground, delivering even more responsiveness and bounce.Courtesy of NikeThe idea, Nike lead designer Jonathan Kosenick explained in a statement, was to offer up “a Nike performance footwear approach into a shoe you want to wear everyday,” one with serious “‘go anywhere, do anything’ character.” Part of nailing that brief, of course, meant making the shoe look cool enough to match up to all that powerful tech beneath the hood. The Dn8 succeeds in that respect, too, with a swoopy silhouette that feels reminiscent of iconic past models like the Air Max Plus and Air Max 97. The shoe’s sleek, sci-fi design elements are highlighted beautifully by its striking “Hyper Pink” launch colorway—a perfectly bold way to introduce this sneaker to the world.The Nike Air Max Dn8 launches February 6 via the SNKRS app, before hitting Nike.com and retail stores a month later on March 6.
