‘The magic’ – Tom Brady uses shock Tiger Woods win to highlight why Jayden Daniels is superstar rookie

Tom Brady believes Jayden Daniels possesses the same two skills that made Tiger Woods unstoppable. Rookie quarterback Daniels led the Washington Commanders to a stunning playoff win against the Detroit Lions on Saturday, sending his team to their first NFC Championship game since the 1991 season. At 24-years-old, Daniels already possesses the tools needed to become one of the NFL’s top quarterbacks. He has an accurate arm, possesses exceptional athleticism and a calm demeanour under pressure, and has already proved one of the best vertical passers in the league. But according to Brady, it’s Daniels’ mental strength separates him from the rest of the pack. “How do we really evaluate confidence? How do we evaluate poise?” Brady asked on the Let’s Go! podcast. “Some people have it, the moment isn’t too big for them. “They look at the challenge and they think, ‘Man, this is going to be amazing when we beat these guys.’ And other guys look at the challenge and go, ‘Oh man, I really don’t want to mess up.’ “I think that fear of failure instilled in a lot of people in early points in their life keeps them from the ultimate confidence in themselves that allows them to go to their maximum potential. “Even though Jayden Daniels is just a rookie, he has that poise and confidence.” Brady, who won seven Super Bowls himself, went on to compare the NFL’s standout rookie with golf’s greatest star.
