At Sunday's Golden Globes, there was a confluence of every horological trend we've seen creeping into Hollywood: stylists putting an extra emphasis on wristwear; celebrities growing more invested in the hobby than ever; rugged stainless-steel watches becoming the norm at black-tie events; watchmakers opening up their archives to allow stars to sport rare grails. Sebastian Stan turned up in an obscure Cartier reference, Jeremy Strong and Michelle Yeoh's remained staunchly committed to Richard Mille, and model Alton Mason rocked a very cool Rolex Submariner. Not to be outdone, Sir Elton John strapped on one of his outrageous Daytonas.
