Arsenal entertain Everton, while there’s a relegation six-pointer at Molineux as Wolves welcome Ipswich in another of the five games down for decision in the top-flight. There is plenty of Saturday action across the English football pyramid as well in Scotland and across Europe’s top tiers and we have picked out our three best bets. GET £30 IN FREE BETS WITH TALKSPORT BET Bet of the Day Blackburn to beat Luton – 11/10 It’s mildly surprising to find Blackburn are odds-against as they prepare to welcome Luton Town to Ewood Park. John Eustace has got Rovers firing and they come into this on a five-game Championship winning streak that includes wins over promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough and Leeds. They haven’t conceded a goal in their last four games and have only been breached seven times in nine games at home this season, with four of those coming in successive reverses against table-toppers Sheffield United and then Stoke City. Luton have struggled to readapt to this division after their Premier League adventure and while they got the better of Stoke last time, that is their only win in the last four. They have lost six in a row on their travels, conceding an alarming 20 times, and Blackburn should make it seven straight road reverses for the Hatters. Special of the Day Wolves to win and over 3.5 goals vs Ipswich – 17/5 It is a proper relegation six-pointer at Molineux as Wolves and Ipswich do battle, currently each boasting nine points from 15 games and with only Southampton behind them in the table. Wolves are nothing if not entertaining. Their Premier League games are averaging just over four goals per game. Gary O’Neil’s side have the worst defensive record (38) but only seven clubs have scored more (23). Five of Wolves’ last seven have featured over 3.5 goals, while Ipswich have found the net six times in their last three away games at West Ham, Brentford and Tottenham. Matheus Cunha has gone three games without a goal contribution, but it was eight in six games before that (five goals, three assists) and, if the Brazilian has a good day, Wolves can outscore the visitors. Long Shot of the Day Hibs to beat Ross County 3-0 – 9/1 Hibs have turned a corner in recent weeks, showing some character along the way for manager David Gray. They twice levelled in stoppage time in a 3-3 draw at home against Aberdeen and then won 3-0 at Motherwell. Last weekend’s 3-0 loss against Celtic in Glasgow scarcely told half the story, with Kasper Schmeichel outstanding in goal for the Hoops and Hibs leaving Parkhead full of regret that they didn’t take their chances. Ross County, meanwhile, have suffered back to back losses against Celtic and Rangers, with eight goals conceded and none scored. They have lost on three of their last five visits to Easter Road without scoring and something similar is on the cards again.
