The actor posted a clip on his Instagram account to talk to the fans about his thought process and plans moving forward. Unimpressed by the cancellation news, Moore took to the social media app to thank the network for taking on the show for the past six years.

"I said I wasn't going to do this, but I can't help it, I'm going to do it because it is who I am. It's how my mama raised me. Own your dignity, tell the truth. She can't stand a liar, so I ain't lying, I'm telling the truth," he began.

He informed the fans that the eighth season of the show was unfortunately canceled three weeks into the finale, noting, "It sucks, it's sad. Had to give a speech today on set to the crew."

Moore recalled being "canceled and uncanceled" two years in a row. He noted that he had to inform his crew today that the show is done for good, and nothing else could be done to salvage the situation.

The actor called out CBS for their decision to end the show, saying: "So, I say to CBS, if you're done, I know it's about money, optics, politics. I don't think you're making the right choice. I'll say that. But if you are done, I say thank you, genuinely, honestly, from my heart."

Moore gave the network its due flowers, acknowledging how they have thrown their weights behind him for 31 years of his career.

"31 years. Is I don't know, 90% because of you, CBS. 'Young and the Restless,' 'Criminal Minds,' and now 'S.W.A.T.' is all CBS," the actor declared, adding a side note that the network will bring joy to many people's faces should they change their minds.

He expressed his excitement to witness the next chapter of his life in his career as an actor and as a father to his daughter, Frankie. He added:

"But I ain't done yet, I ain't done. My knees are ready, I lost 20 pounds, I'm ready to go! But if you're done CBS, I say thank you."

Moore used the opportunity to shout out another streaming giant, "Hey Netflix, how you doing? Let me just remind you that in a very short period of time once upon a time agoit only took us about two weeks to go from number fifteen, number twelve to number one."

He bragged about his track record with the streaming giant, as he also called on NBC, Fox, and ABC to come "flirt" with him. Moore ended the clip by expressing his full intent to continue working and was also content knowing that he had a "good run" with the show.
