Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot want to be the fairest of them all in Snow White.
On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Disney debuted a full-length trailer for the live-action reimagining of the 1937 animated classic, starring Zegler, 23, as the titular princess.
The trailer shows Gadot, 39, as Snow White's stepmother, a.k.a. the Evil Queen, with a magic mirror on her wall and a poison apple up her sleeve. Also shown are Snow White's seven sidekicks: Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy.
Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man) directed Snow White, which features new original songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.

Zegler, known for her acting and vocals in movies like West Side Story and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, sings the song "Waiting on a Wish" in the trailer, which also shows her fighting back against the Evil Queen to reclaim her kingdom.

Currently starring in Broadway's Romeo + Juliet, Zegler told Variety in October that "one of the core points" in this Snow White "for any young woman or young person is remembering how strong you actually are."
Director Webb also told the outlet why Zegler was perfect for the role: "[She] has an inherent grace, poise and goodness that reminds me so much of what is essential to Snow White."
Gadot previously told PEOPLE at the 2022 D23 expo that this villain role was something she took very seriously. "I wanted to make sure that we keep her delightful and delicious, and we understand what makes her tick. Then the evilness is interesting and not just flat," she said.
The Wonder Woman actress added, "For me it was making sure the Queen is not just evil for the sake of being evil. There is a complexity. Between the two characters, it's like a mother-daughter relationship in a weird way. It's what happens to a woman when she feels like she's not relevant anymore, what can come out of her."
