Rihanna Attends Her Cousin's L.A. Birthday Bash in Stylish Snakeskin Look amid Boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s Trial

Rihanna is stepping out amid her boyfriend A$AP Rocky's assault trial.

On Wednesday, Feb. 5, the singer, 36, was snapped attending her cousin’s birthday party at Nobu in Los Angeles sporting an oversized leather snakeskin jacket with grey jeans. She accessorized with a large black ring while she wore her hair in loose waves and kept her make-up neutral and fresh.

The outing comes as her boyfriend and father of her two sons, A$AP Rocky, also 36, continues his ongoing trial. The rapper — whose real name is Rakim Mayers — is on trial for allegedly shooting A$AP Relli with a semiautomatic handgun in November 2021. He has pleaded not guilty to two felony charges for assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

The star's outing comes after she supported her man at the courthouse on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Dressed all in black, she sat between Rocky's mother Renee Black and his sister Erika B. Mayers in the gallery at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Her presence marked the first time that Rihanna — who shares sons RZA Athelston Mayers, 2, and Riot Rose Mayers, 18 months with the rapper — has expressed public support for Rocky since the legal case began.

Rocky turned down a plea deal from prosecutors on Jan. 21. by opting for a jury trial instead of pleading guilty to one of two felony charges of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. He faces up to 24 years in prison if found guilty.

Her court appearance comes just hours after she and Rocky stepped out for a date night in Los Angeles. On Tuesday, Jan. 28, the couple was photographed with A$AP wearing sunglasses which he teamed with a khaki trench coat covering up a collared shirt, tie and slacks while Rihanna opted for a denim-on-denim look covered up with a black leather jacket and thick-rimmed glasses.
