Real Madrid star’s wife hits out at Carlo Ancelotti over controversial tactic – before claiming account was hacked

Real Madrid fans may be left fuming by their latest Champions League defeat – but none appeared more so than Federico Valverde’s wife. Los Blancos lost 3-1 at home to AC Milan on Tuesday night – their second defeat in four games of the league stage. Valverde was hauled off at half-time during the club’s 3-1 defeat to AC MilanGetty And just like in their first loss away to Lille, boss Carlo Ancelotti opted to deploy defensive midfielder Valverde on the right flank. His performance led to criticism from Real supporters, with the Uruguay international subsequently being hauled off at half-time for Aurelien Tchouameni. It was a decision that appeared to leave Valverde’s wife Mina Bonino raging, as an X post from her account, which she later insisted was hacked, read: “If I say what I really think, I’ll end up in jail.” A fan then replied, declaring that Ancelotti’s decision was purely tactical as Luka Modric couldn’t be taken off. To which Bonino’s account stated: “Brother, Fede plays best as a midfielder. “What are you talking about? When are they going to understand once and for all that Fede isn’t a winger?” One user then accused Valverde over his part in Alvaro Morata’s goal that made it 2-1 to Milan, accusing the 26-year-old of ‘standing still’. It was a view that had appeared to infuriate Bonino, as the account messaged: “He’s playing as a winger. Did you know? “Because I never see forwards being reproached for not dropping back [to defend], but the idiot who is everywhere is.” After a few hours, Bonino deleted all of her angry posts, where she claimed she was the victim of hacking, as she simply said: “It’s not me, I was hacked.” Real have lost two out of their four matches in the Champions League this seasonGetty View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mina Bonino (@minabonino) But the messages still came to the attention of Ancelotti who reacted to the posts following the full-time whistle. Defending himself over withdrawing Valverde from play, he said: “From what people think on social media… for me it’s very complicated. “I took him off because for me he wasn’t 100 per cent, he had back problems, it seemed like he had recovered because he trained well yesterday. “But it seemed like he wasn’t at his best physical level, that’s why I changed him.’ Champions League holders Real have struggled for consistency this season.
