Chris Stapleton forgot to thank one important collaborator when he accepted his first win of the night at the 2024 Country Music Association Awards.

On Wednesday, Nov. 20, the singer, 46, attended the 58th annual country music awards show in Nashville, where he was nominated for a total of five awards. Early in the night, he took home the award for single of year for his song "White Horse," which featured his wife Morgane Stapleton as a producer.

The country star forgot to give her a shout-out during his acceptance speech — but got the chance to make up for it as he secured his second win of the evening for song of the year for the same tune.
