Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent can turn any living space into an elegant oasis — even if it’s decorated with Legos.
The interior design couple recently partnered with the Lego Group to collaborate on the brand’s holiday house activation in Brooklyn, New York. They decorated three stories of a brownstone home for the holidays using a variety of Lego sets, including top picks from their two children, Poppy and Oskar.
When it comes to the “driving force” behind the collaboration, Brent tells PEOPLE, “It's this idea of us coming together [and] working on the Lego sets. It's something that the whole family works on, especially at the holidays, which is all about the quiet moments like this for your home — around a coffee table, laughing and drinking, and enjoying each other. That’s what’s fun for us.”
In addition to the holiday house, Brent and Berkus created a Lego gift guide featuring their favorite sets, which start at $13. The curation has a variety of builds that the whole family can enjoy, and each one can double as decor once it’s complete.

Any Star Wars fan would swoon over this newly released Jabba Sail Barge; just take it from certified sci-fi lover Jeremiah Brent, who told PEOPLE, “that’s my number one” in the gift guide. It’s modeled after a scene in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, where you get a glimpse of Jabba the Hutt’s sail barge. It has nearly 4,000 pieces and 11 minifigures — and it would be an awesome keepsake that a Lego architect can admire for years to come.

Berkus joked that husband Brent “of course” loved the “most vintage” Lego set, this retro-inspired camera. It’s full of charm and promises endless fun for the kid in your life since it can be built into three retro devices: a film camera, a video camera, and a mini TV set. Berkus and Brent believe it’s the “perfect stocking stuffer,” according to the gift guide.
