His first run over hurdles last time out was unfortunate as he bumped into a clearly progressive type Mirabad, who was the odds-on favourite and then went on to beat Wreckless Eric at Cheltenham on Friday in the Catesby Estates Handicap Hurdle. That said, he was very far behind and made a mistake at the last that also upped the distance of defeat. But Ken Roy who is just the better price for Paul Nicholls appeals a bit more. He made his debut over hurdles last month and placed a respectable fourth behind It’s Hard To Know, who has won again since, Metkayina who has also won since and could be well weighted to strike here. No Risk Des Flos & Real Stone Real Stone has had an odd career so far, with 17 runs, four wins and three second placed finishes he’s established himself especially over fences. But he’s been largely inconsistent and that’s had a lot to do with what could be down to his breathing as he’s been sent for three wind ops across the years, with two in September 2023 and January 2024. His latest wind op looked to have done the trick as he placed a decent second in a Class 3 handicap. He fell at Hereford after being headed by Mackenberg who was left clear in the lead, who unseated Theo Gillard at the last which left Courtland to win by 23 lengths. That only really bodes well for Real Stone as he was going well, probably would have ended up a short distance second behind Mackenberg. He’s not been upped or dropped in the weights from that and won by 20 lengths when 5lb lower back in November 2023 and has gone well before on seasonal debut. However, No Risk Des Flos also has the chance to be a huge improver on his second run of the season and after a wind op, having gone a decent second behind L’Eau du Sud in October. He’s down to a very dangerous mark having been as high as 139 in 2023, but that latest run clearly puts him back in contention, yet he’s been nudged down 1lb instead. My Gift To You Really consistent six-year-old who also goes very well with claimer Mr Alex Chadwick on board. Winning at Sedgefield over 3m2f in October with Chadwick up and has placed another two times this year with this jockey. Interesting to see him go back to hurdles again as he did in September under Sean Bowen, placing 4th of 14 at Worcester. Could have been more efficient in his jumping and won off 1lb lower under Chadwick over fences so he’s got a great chance now. Ken Roy
Huge chance for Bold Recruit today but he’s placed second in each of his last four runs over hurdles, in two bumpers and a point to point.
No Risk Des Flos & Real Stone
Real Stone has had an odd career so far, with 17 runs, four wins and three second placed finishes he’s established himself especially over fences.
My Gift To You
Really consistent six-year-old who also goes very well with claimer Mr Alex Chadwick on board.
Winning at Sedgefield over 3m2f in October with Chadwick up and has placed another two times this year with this jockey.

Could have been more efficient in his jumping and won off 1lb lower under Chadwick over fences so he’s got a great chance now.
