Miley Cyrus is looking forward to 2025.
In an Instagram post shared on Monday, Dec. 23 ahead of the holidays, penning an emotional farewell to this past year while also teasing new things ahead.
"HAPPY HOLIDAYS & NEW YEAR!" Cyrus, 32, began the caption to her post, which featured her posing in a black leather dress with cutouts.
"It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to a year that has been so good to me, but I am looking forward to starting over again. This is one of my favorite parts of not just the creative process but the way life has chosen to teach me."
"In everything I do I like to go ALL the way. Give it ALL I’ve got. ALL for it to come to an end, move on and start anew," she continued. "At times it can be a heartbreaking process but I’ve always known the pieces to come back together and create something beautiful."
The "Flowers" singer concluded her post, thanking everyone "who has been a part of making this year so special. Sincerely, Miley."
2024 has been a very big year for Cyrus. In February, she won the record of the year Grammy for her song "Flowers." "This award is amazing. But I really hope that it doesn't change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday," she said upon accepting the award.
"Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular," she added, joking, "So please don't think that this is important, even though it's very important, right guys?"

In August, Cyrus was named a Disney Legend for her tenure on Disney Channel as Hannah Montana.
“I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana," she said onstage when being honored. "In so many ways, this award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality. To quote the legend herself, 'This is the life,' " she added.
A source exclusively told PEOPLE in November that Cyrus has finally found a balance between her career and her personal life.
"She’s figured out how to balance her career so that it’s not running her life. It was a machine for so long, and that’s the last thing she wants," the insider said at the time.
The source added that the singer is "passionate about what she puts out and everything is super personal to her."
