No one does effortless glam quite like Meghan Markle.
On Dec. 4, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, appeared at the 2024 Paley Honors Fall Gala in Beverly Hills to support her friend Tyler Perry, and she did not miss the opportunity to affirm her red carpet prowess.
Markle wore a black strapless Oscar de la Renta gown featuring a sweetheart neckline, knee-high slit and short train. She teamed the dress with Stuart Weitzman's Nudist Sandal in black suede.
For some eye-catching sparkle, the Suits alum wore the Logan Hollowell 18k Fortuna Tennis Necklace with Diamonds in white gold. Per the brand's website the $36,450 piece is a "divine embodiment of luck and fortune inspired by the Roman goddess herself. Fortuna, the goddess of fortune and luck, serves as the muse for this exquisite piece, seamlessly blending elegance with the whims of fate."
The description continues: "Each diamond, carefully set in the necklace, reflects the goddess's ability to randomize and bring luck, adding a touch of celestial brilliance to the wearer."

Markle's glam was equally as chic and timeless. Her minimal makeup look was courtesy of makeup artist Daniel Martin, who has long worked with the star, including on her wedding day.
Martin kept it simple with fluttery lashes, soft pink blush and a pink glossy lip. Of course, there was plenty of glow — the Duchess' dewy, radiant skin was nearly as reflective as her diamond necklace.
Markle's hair was swept into an elegant updo by hairstylist Hector. Her dark locks were parted in the center and secured into an intricate bun at the back of her head with lots of volume at the crown.
A longtime fan of effortless updos, Markle's look is similar to the low, center-parted bun she wore for her 2018 wedding reception. Created by hairstylist George Northwood, the bridal look featured loose curled pieces framing her face.
At the gala, Perry, 55, received the highest honor from The Paley Center for Media. The Duchess posed on the red carpet alongside Perry, who is godfather to her and Prince Harry's daughter 3-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet. In 2020, the actor and filmmaker offered his Los Angeles home to the couple and their 5-year-old son, Prince Archie, they transitioned out of their royal roles.

"Apparently we've bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it's just like, what?" the Duke of Sussex, 40, said in during a conversation with New York Times columnist and Dealbook founder Andrew Ross Sorkin at the publication's 2024 DealBook Summit.
"It's hard to keep up with, but that's why you just sort of ignore it. The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls," he continued. "Their hopes are just built and built, and it's like, 'Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,' and then it doesn't happen. So I feel sorry for them. Genuinely, I do."
