Martha's revisiting of her marriage to Andrew in her new documentary recently sparked a reaction from her former husband and his wife, Shyla.

In the documentary, Martha accused Andrew of having "quite a few girlfriends" when they were married and claimed that she found it difficult to walk away, per Page Six.

The remark and many more Martha made didn't sit well with Shyla and Andrew, and they took to Facebook to accuse the TV personality of relitigating the failed marriage.

"While Andy quietly moved on and forward with his life, it appears that Martha continues to publicly relitigate the marriage, including comments in a sensationalized trailer for an upcoming documentary on Netflix," read a part of the post made by Shyla on behalf of herself and Andrew.

Shyla also described Andrew's marriage to Martha as "painful and abusive" compared to the "joy-filled and purpose-led" version he now shares with her.

She concluded the post, "We both wish everyone, including Martha herself, the experience of loving and being loved deeply and fully, and the peace that comes from such a love."

Social Media Reacts As Martha Stewart Is Called Out For Revisiting Her Failed Marriage

In the comment section of Shyla's post, several social media users shared the same sentiments Shyla made in the post.

One person wrote, "Beautifully said Shyla. I am so sorry that some people are so self-absorbed & can't resist the sensationalism she obviously still craves. I'm sad she had to go down that road. Andy truly is a sweetheart of a man!!!!"

Another commented, "Just saw that trailer and whoowee, she is one bitter lady. It's a pretty cheap grab for her documentary and, as always, your articulate post puts it all in perspective. So glad you & Andy found each other."

A third Facebook user said, "Some people change and improve their lives, loves, and spirits. Some do not. I'm so glad you two have this abiding love in your life."

One more person shared, "It's unfortunate that Martha feels the need to distort reality to suit her own agenda. Her hurtful actions are a reflection of her personal struggles, not a testament to Andy's character. I've always known Andy for his kind and gentle nature, as I'm sure so many others have."

In her Netflix documentary, A friend of Martha, Kathy Tatlock, talked about one of Andrew's alleged affairs with a staff member, Robin Fairclough, who was living at Turkey Hill Farm.

Tatlock said, "There were rumors floating around that Andy had some sort of involvement with the girl who was doing the flower arrangements at Turkey Hill Farm."

Turkey Hill Farm is where Martha and Andrew's Westport, Connecticut, home was located.

"Martha was picking up on everything and getting more and more upset," Tatlock continued. "She would be frantic, migraines and sleeplessness. At one point, she showed me where she tore her hair out of her own head. She was mean to her staff. She had lost control of Andy, so she was making everybody pay."

According to Martha, she confronted the alleged mistress for sleeping with her then-husband.

"When I was traveling, Andy started up with her," Martha said. "It was like I put out a snack for Andy."

She continued, "I kicked her out immediately. You know, 'What the hell are you doing?'"

The celebrity chef added in the documentary, "Andy betrayed me right on our property. Not nice."

Martha also admitted to cheating on hes husband during their marriage but claimed it was nothing serious and that Andrew never knew about it.

As part of the promotion for the documentary, Martha appeared on Netflix's Skip Intro podcast. There, she discussed how she has managed to stay relevant across decades despite the constantly changing shifts in culture.

"I am my best customer, I am my best reader. I am my best student. I know what I need and what I want, and I try to understand that in our audience," she told her host, Krista Smith, per Tudum By Netflix.

She added, "The Martha Stewart brand has a very broad audience, so by understanding what people need and want, we [didn't create] this fake fairy-tale life."

Martha also claimed that she learned very early on to see the importance of technology and has utilized it in connecting with her audience.

"I'm an early adopter of technology, and I always have been. I started on Twitter and the minute it was established, I met with the founder and invested," the book author shared. "When Instagram came, I loved it. I met the TikTok guys early on, and it's a very useful tool."
