A 32-year-old man has been charged after a father and son in the U.K. died in a car crash on Friday, Dec. 27.
Peter and Loughlin Devlin died at the scene when an Audi and Mercedes collided at around 1 p.m. local time outside the village of Killylea in Northern Ireland, PEOPLE previously reported.

The Killylea Road was closed following the incident but has since reopened, according to local police.
A police report reveals detectives from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit have charged a man, 32, with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, and one count of causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving.
He is expected to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court today, Friday, Jan. 3.
The court appearance comes after the small Armagh village of Tynan gathered together “out of love” at the Church of St Joseph, Tynan on New Year’s Day for Peter and Loughlin’s funeral.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, several mementos were brought to the altar including a Valentine’s card Peter had given to his wife as a symbol of devotion to their marriage.
A teddy bear that belonged to Loughlin’s son Brodie and family photos were also displayed as a symbol of his “pride” after becoming a first-time dad.

Father Sean Moore described both men as hard workers while telling mourners that Loughlin had recently started a new business with his father-in-law.

The priest thanked the emergency services for their response to the crash and urged people to be safe when traveling on the roads.
"It's impossible to sum up the grief here today; maybe each one of us can be a little bit more careful on the roads,” Fr. Sean Moore said, per the Belfast Telegraph.

"I'm speaking to myself as well as to each one of you. Please, this brings home the heartache that can be caused… please, please show more care on the roads,” he added.
