The Bravo star, who appeared on a podcast, defended her decision to earn some money from the news of her pregnancy and her teaming up with the dream team to make that possible.
Lindsay Hubbard finally welcomed her bundle of joy one week ago and happily shared the news on her Instagram feed, along with photos of her journey in and out of the hospital.

On Jason Tartick's "Trading Secrets" podcast, the reality star replied to critics who condemned her decision to monetize her pregnancy journey, bragging that it was just a smart business move.
She revealed how she partnered with Clearblue last July to reveal that she was expecting a baby with her mystery boyfriend, who was later identified as Dr Turner Kufe.
"They were like, 'I can't believe she monetized her pregnancy announcement. And it's like, 'Why not? I'm gonna make the announcement anyway, why not make money from it?" she argued.
"I used Clearblue, I used the digital test — that was the test I used back in April when I found out I was pregnant," Hubbard continued. "So why not go to them and say, 'Hey, I used your test, I'm about to announce my pregnancy, do you want to sponsor this?'"
According to Page Six, the reality star described the deal as the biggest in her career, "This is how I make my money. I'm not doing PR anymore, I'm not sitting behind a desk."

2024 is on its way to being Hubbard's best financial year. On the podcast, she revealed that she surpassed $100,000 in social media earnings for the year.
That amount is reportedly a big leap from her starting salary of $28,000 while she worked in PR, which she also made from the Clearblue partnership.
Never the one to pass up a good opportunity to earn money, she also partnered with Jimmy Johns when she welcomed her baby girl.
"You have nooo idea how long I've been waiting to eat a good sandwich," she captioned the upload, referencing one of her viral lines before directing fans to "Go get you a sandwich that you look at the way Baby Cub looks at my boobs!"

Hubbard shared news of her labor and delivery with nearly 700,000 followers. In her 14-slide post, she described the journey of meeting her mini-me as "beautiful" and explained:
"When it was 'go time,' it felt like such an intimate, spiritual ceremony with just us — filled with so much hope and excitement for this new chapter."
The social media expert then hinted at her plans to expand her family, rounding off her caption with, "A special thanks to our doctor and the team of nurses who took incredible care of us during our hospital stay!! Until next time."
Hubbard did not stop the hustle, as she also worked with JMY Interiors on her nursery. She filmed Season 9 of "Summer House" while expecting her lovely baby, which she defended from "beyond confusing" trolls in July.

Hubbard protected her partner from the wandering eyes of Bravo fans as she went through the journey of motherhood. The Blast noted that she released a statement to that effect explaining her intentions. In her words:
"This is not about us being proud of each other or not."
Hubbard reiterated that her partner is beyond proud to be her boyfriend and child's father. She added, "We are very much in love and have a beautiful relationship. This is about his work, his privacy, and the fact that it is not his job to be public like me."
The mother-of-one eventually blew the covers and shone the light on her partner in a rare post on her Instagram page. She flaunted the health practitioner in a series of pictures, although his face was still hidden behind a brown heart emoji.

He looked dapper in a black suit jacket, matching pants, white shirt, and plum necktie. Hubbard's beau completed the look with dark brown shoes. According to her caption, the pair took the cozy picture at a wedding and mini getaway in Portugal.
"Baby daddy was there to help," she declared, noting that the event happened in her first trimester before she announced her pregnancy.
