Lana Del Rey is thanking Jack Antonoff for getting her down the aisle!
While presenting her longtime friend and collaborator Antonoff, 40, with the Producer of the Decade award at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch on Saturday, Dec. 7, the singer, 39, said in a speech that the producer’s love for wife Margaret Qualley is what finally convinced her to get married.
“And most of all, I'm grateful for [Antonoff], for his example that he gave me in his marriage to Margaret,” Rey said of the couple, who tied the knot in August 2023.
“I saw the way he looked at her when he met her and he's a big reason why I waited so long to get married and why I met my amazing husband,” she added referring to her husband Jeremy Dufrene, whom she married in September.
The “Summertime Sadness” singer then shared how she felt she had been under “a singer's curse around meeting an honest partner” which Antonoff helped her break in meeting her husband.

“So Jack, thank you so much for maybe helping other people look at me in a way that is a little bit closer to how I perceived myself,” Rey continued. “...Other than my managers, you really have turned my life around … you've just really made it feel like Hollywood can be glamorous still and you can still have a very rich home life, even when you get rich.”
Rey tied the knot with her husband Dufrene, 49, on Sept. 26, 2024.
The pair were first romantically linked in August 2024 after knowing each other for several years. They were first spotted by a Reddit user eating lunch together in London and then filmed on TikTok walking hand-in-hand at the Leeds Festival in the U.K. that same month.
On Sept. 29, Rey wrote of her new husband in the comment section of a since-deleted Instagram post shared on a fan’s page, "Jeremy is the one and only. And amazing. And we’re very happy.”

A source previously told PEOPLE in September that Rey’s marriage to alligator tour guide Dufrene came after a “whirlwind romance” between the pair.
"They initially met a few years ago the first time and then reconnected earlier this year. It's been kind of a whirlwind romance, but Lana's close friends hoped she would get married,” the insider said.
"Jeremy is different from the men that Lana meets in the entertainment world. He's a great guy. He's charming and charismatic in a Southern way, very much a gentleman, and he treats Lana really well."
