McCartney and Peterson tied the knot in California in 2021 after seven years of dating

Jesse McCartney and his wife Katie Peterson are bringing a "Beautiful Soul" into the world!

The couple announced through a joint Instagram post on Friday, Feb. 14, that they're expecting their first baby later this year. McCartney and Peterson, both 37, shared a series of Valentine's Day-themed photos to celebrate their happy news.

The couple posed in "mom" and "dad" monogrammed pajamas and used their hands to form a heart over Peterson's growing baby bump. They closed out their post with a sonogram photo surrounded by red roses and hearts that read "Baby Mac" and "Aug. 2025."

McCartney and Peterson then went on to reveal their baby's expected due date in the caption of their festive announcement, writing, "Our lil Valentine
