Leno was seen stepping out for lunch on Thursday with visible injuries to his face. He was staying at a hotel outside of Pittsburgh before an event when the accident happened.
Reports say the hotel was located at the top of a hill, and Leno fell while trying to walk to a nearby restaurant.
"To get to it, I didn't have a car, so you had to walk about a mile and a half around. I said, 'Well, the hill doesn't look that steep. It's about 60-70 feet. Let me see if I can go down the hill,'" he shared, per TMZ.
"I fell down. Boom, boom, boom. I rolled down the hill, hit my head on a rock, knocked me in the eye," Leno added.
The Comedian Previously Suffered A Fire Accident
The former "Tonight Show" host got saved by the hair when he suffered a fire accident in November 2022.
At the time, Leno revealed that he sustained severe "burns" as flames erupted while working on one of his vintage cars.
"It's good. Things are good. I can't complain," he told E! News about his recovery at the time. "I just write jokes, tell jokes, get checked. Very simple process."
Just months after, in January 2023, Leno revealed to the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he broke several bones in a motorcycle accident on the 17th of the same month.
"I got knocked off my motorcycle, so I've got a broken collarbone. I've got two broken ribs. I've got two cracked kneecaps," Leno said, adding at the time that he is "very happy" in his life because of his wife, Mavis, who is currently battling dementia.
"I've been very lucky. I've been married to the same woman 45 years," he said, going on to add that his secret to a lasting relationship is "don't screw around — pretty simple."

"I'm doing good! I'm doing good! It's fine! I'm fine," he insisted. "Look, when you're in my position, when you're any kind of celebrity, you're luckier than most people."
He added, "So when something bad happens to you, you can't whine and complain about it because bad things happen to people every day — either they get burned, or they get cut — and they don't have the financial wherewithal I did."
The Comedian Filed To Become His Wife's Conservator
Leno has since filed for conservatorship over his wife, Mavis, as he continues to take care of her following her dementia diagnosis.
According to TMZ, the TV host sought legal authority over Mavis's affairs due to her condition.
Leno's filing would grant him the legal authority to make financial and medical decisions on Mavis' behalf.
