‘It’s not happening’ – Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend shares Chiefs-Bills prediction and how tight end will impact AFC showdown
Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, is tired of watching the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl. The Chiefs are chasing a historic three-peat this season, and come up against the Buffalo Bills in a blockbuster AFC Championship game on Sunday night. The Chiefs are chasing three-straight Super Bowl wins, but some believe their dominance is boringGetty Win, and Kansas City will reach the Super Bowl for a third-straight year. That alone would be an impressive feat – only three other NFL teams have ever reached three consecutive Super Bowls – but some fans are getting tired of all their success. Many across America will be rooting for Josh Allen and the Bills to triumph on Sunday, purely because they are bored of seeing Patrick Mahomes and his teammates in the postseason finale. And Nicole, despite once being a staple at Arrowhead Stadium, is one of those people. Kelce and Nicole dated on-and-off for five years between 2017 and 2022. During that time, she was regularly seen cheering him on at Arrowhead, but could now find herself more at home with the Bills Mafia. Speaking during an episode of I Am Athlete on Monday, Nicole shared her verdict on the Bills vs Chiefs championship game. “As much as I’d love to see Josh (Allen) pull it off, I don’t know if that’s going to happen,” she said, before being asked if she really wanted Buffalo to win. “Yeah, I do. (It would be) something new. I’m bored,” Nicole added with a smile. She was then asked what it is that makes Mahomes and the Chiefs so good in clutch playoff situations, having experienced some in person over the years at Arrowhead. It’s a well thought out offense and he studies the game like no one else. Then you’ve got Andy Reid, and his playbook is crazy.” Nicole went on to offer a prediction for how her ex, Kelce, could impact the game on Sunday. “Their offense is so deep, they have guys that they can throw the ball to that are not going to drop it in the end zone,” the 32-year-old said. “Travis Kelce, that’s a tight end that’s not going to do it (drop the ball). “They’ve got the threats, so as much as I’d like to see somebody else in the Super Bowl, just to see something new, it’s not happening.” Following their break up, Kelce entered a high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift – which Nicole previously admitted has had an adverse affect on her own life. “I think the combination of everything is the perfect storm to make you want to disappear from the world entirely,” she told Angel Reese‘s podcast. “Behind closed doors, the hardest part is losing a partner, a best friend, speaking every day to cutting ties. I think there is something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people, which is unfortunate because I don’t think I have done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.” The Chiefs are now two wins away from football immortality.
