Ishowspeed was streaming behind the scenes at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 when WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H asked him to enter the ring in place of Akira Tozawa.

Tozawa had been injured after getting attacked by Carmelo Hayes. Despite initially protesting he wasn't ready, Ishowspeed made his way to the ring with loud cheers.

After entering the ring, Ishowspeed helped wrestler Bron Breakker eliminate Otis before hitting a Siuuu celebration and his trademark summersault. However, the 20-year-old shockingly got speared and eliminated by Breakker before Otis threw him through the announcer's table.

Ishowspeed looked visibly hurt and was escorted out of the arena. Speaking to WWE presenter Cathy Kelly after the event, Ishowspeed explained he would have done better if he had more time.

The YouTuber then called out several WWE Superstars, including Roman Reigns and Mark Henry, promising to eliminate them at the next Royal Rumble.

"Next Royal Rumble, I'm calling out everybody! Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, Dom, it don't matter who you are, just wait till I start training out there. You know what I'm saying? Don't worry, it ain't a joke out there. It's not a joke!" he declared, per Sportskeeda.

After Speed called out the WWE superstars he wanted to face in the next Royal Rumble, the YouTuber Cathy Kelly asked him to name which move was more brutal: Randy Orton's RKO or Bron Breakker's Spear.

In 2024, IShowSpeed appeared at WWE WrestleMania wearing a PRIME bottle costume.

The YouTuber tried distracting Randy Orton while helping his friend Logan Paul, which led to the WWE superstar using his signature move, "RKO," on Ishowspeed.

Ishowspeed, who couldn't believe he was just asked to pick between getting speared and RKO, replied, "Did you just ask me, does it hurt? They hurt. They hurt! That's what the people want to hear? They both hurt. I can't even walk. That's pretty much it. I don't know how complex it can get."

Kelly then asked if WWE fans would be seeing Ishowspeed at future events, to which the YouTuber replied, "Yeah, let's hope you see me again."

How Injured Was Ishowspeed At Royal Rumble?

After Ishowspeed was speared and thrown through the announcer's table, the cameras panned to his fellow YouTube star, Logan Paul, checking up on him backstage.

Ishowspeed, who was limping, showed him the leg injury he sustained. A massive chunk of skin on IShowspeed's leg had been scraped off.

During his interview with Cathy Kelly, the 20-year-old wore a cervical collar and walked with crutches.

Ishowspeed's friend and frequent collaborator Kai Cenat was also a guest of the WWE at the Royal Rumble.

Like many other fans present at Indianapolis' Lucas Oil Stadium, Cenat was surprised to see Ishowspeed entering the ring and initially cheered on his friend.

However, after Speed was speared and lifted in the air, Cenat looked concerned for him and muttered, "Oh my God!"

Cenat, streaming live from the event, declared he wasn't sure about wrestling anymore after watching what happened to his friend.

"I don't know if I wanna wrestle anymore; I ain't gonna lie," he said, in a video posted on YouTube.
