Tyson appeared to have been carrying an injury, with strapping on his knee which appeared to hinder his movement during the fight. And he has since opened up further on it, explaining how it hindered his preparations. He said on his podcast: “I missed about two weeks of sparring and I really couldn’t do much. “I only could spar in the last 7 days before the fight, I still had a really weak ankle. “I still taped it up all the time, I was good enough to go in there but I definitely felt my cardio was affected. “I think I healed my ankle sprain faster than any human in the world.” Paul didn’t look at his best, but in truth never needed to be, as he coasted against the veteran.
