Hugh Jackman's estranged wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, has reportedly been left reeling by reports of the actor's rumored romance with his Broadway co-star, Sutton Foster.

A source also claims that Jackman has been keeping his relationship with Foster on the down low because he doesn't want to humiliate Furness. However, she is said to be "seething with rage" that she was the last to know about their romance.

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster were reportedly planning to spend Christmas with his kids but Deborra-Lee Furness isn't too keen about the idea.

Jackman and Foster have been in an alleged romance after they both began working together on the Broadway revival of "The Magic Man" in 2022.

Their alleged romance was reportedly touted as "Broadway's worst-kept secret," but one person who was seemingly left in the dark is his ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.

According to Radar Online, a source shared that Furness feels jilted and is "furious" about the Hollywood star's rumored new romance with Sutton.

She's particularly also angry at Jackman's friends, Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, who allegedly kept mute about the relationship.

"They kept their lips sealed out of loyalty to Hugh," a source told the news outlet. "Despite their longtime relationship with Deb, they chose to cover for him!"

"Now she is seething with rage over being the last to know about the clandestine affair. Deb feels blindsided. She has a memory like a steel trap and isn't afraid to use it!" the insider said.

"Debs feels cheated by all three because someone could have told her what was happening, and they all chose to keep their mouths shut," they added.

While Furness is angry that she was "the last to know" about Jackman and Foster's relationship, sources claim the "Logan" star kept her in the dark out of respect for her.

A source told OK! Magazine that Jackman and Foster have been keeping their romance out of the public eye because the actor doesn't want to "humiliate" Furness.

"They've been hiding their relationship from the outside world for so long, sneaking around, living apart, but there will come a time when they'll want to come out as a couple," the source claimed. "Soon, they may start testing the waters."

The insider noted that "many in the theater world already knew their secret," but the "X-Men" actor "doesn't want the negative publicity," neither does he want to "humiliate" Furness.

"Hugh cares for Deb a great deal. She's the mother of his children," they added.

Although Jackman and Foster are yet to publicly acknowledge that they're together, sources close to the pair claim that their romance was what caused his divorce from Furness.

The former couple were married for almost 3 decades but shocked fans in September last year when they announced that they were going their separate ways to "pursue our individual growth."

However, a source told US Weekly that Jackman's alleged affair caused his split from Furness after their friendship turned romantic while they both worked on their Broadway show and were married to other people.

"Sutton and Hugh's relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced," the insider shared. "A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap."

The source further explained that Jackman and Foster are still going strong and "are really happy now."

Meanwhile, the "Bunheads" alum filed for divorce from her husband of 10 years, Ted Griffin, on October 25.

The Australian-born actress was reportedly "suspicious" of Jackman and Fosters' romance.

She also recently used her private IG account to "like" a post by gossip blogger Tasha Lustig, which claimed Jackman was "running off with the mistress" and planning a "soft launch" of their relationship.

"She has suspected Hugh of cheating on her, and he adamantly denied it over and over," a source told Us Weekly. "This is what would hurt the worst."

"They based their marriage on honesty. But if Hugh didn't physically cheat, she knows that he did emotionally," they continued. "She wasn't going to be the one to break anything or say anything, and she still won't be speaking out."

The insider added that "her liking" the post about their alleged affair "is the most subtle thing she could do that would have the greatest impact and it cannot be proven in any way shape or form that it was a jab to him."

Meanwhile, Furness is said to be against Jackman and Foster's plans of spending Christmas with their children, son Oscar, 24, and daughter Ava, 19.

The "Deadpool Vs Wolverine" actor wanted to introduce their kids to Foster over Christmas, but Furness is reportedly not "keen on the idea."

"It's going to take more time for loved ones to adjust to the new normal and so that means Hugh and Sutton are bracing themselves for way less time together than they'd like during the holidays," an insider told Woman's Day.

The source explained that Furness feels like Jackman is "moving on quickly" because she "gave so much of herself to their marriage" and doesn't want a "blended" Christmas.

"It's a delicate balancing act and he feels like if anyone is going to spend less time with the kids this year, it's him," they added.
