Hilaria Baldwin and her daughter Carmen are teaming up to share some of their best skincare tips.
The yoga pro, 40, and her 11-year-old daughter collaborated on their brand new book Glowing Up: Recipes to Rock Your Natural Beauty, which provides a guide to embracing self-care, building confidence and celebrating natural beauty through easy-to-follow natural skincare recipes and tips to address pressure surrounding societal beauty standards.
"I loved creating this book with Carmen. One of my goals as a mother is to really foster my children's creativity and individuality and see where their passions and skills collide," Baldwin tells PEOPLE. "She has made her own skincare products from our kitchen for years, learning what ingredients are beneficial, measuring, experimenting...creating. It is her work and I am just helping her see the potential and possibilities."

The proud mom says that Carmen has been able to help their entire family of nine, including her actor husband Alec Baldwin.
"I would have LOVED this book growing up. I actually love her products now and learn so much from her. She takes care of all of us at home," Baldwin says. "I'm always happy to be her guinea pig...or volunteer Alec!"
Carmen tells PEOPLE she's "pretty proud" of the project and has been working on her recipes for years.
"All of these recipes are ones that I have been making at home for a couple of years. I use them on myself and my siblings and my parents," she says. "My mom teaches me that sharing is so important and she thought that these recipes would be so fun to write down and share with other kids and their families!"

Carmen admits that some of the recipes required trial and error — especially after she accidentally turned her dad yellow.
"I've made some mistakes along the way...like turning my dad yellow from turmeric...oops! But I had so much fun making these recipes and using them. I am constantly making more!" she tells PEOPLE.
In addition to daughter Carmen, Hilaria and Alec are parents to daughters Ilaria Catalina Irena, 2, andMaría Lucía Victoria, 3, and sons Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, 4, Romeo Alejandro David, 6, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 7, and Rafael Thomas, 9.
Glowing Up: Recipes to Rock Your Natural Beauty is available for preorder today, and will officially release on March 23.
