Gisele Bündchen Reportedly Plans To Have A Home Birth For Her Child With Joaquim Valente

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen is preparing to welcome a new arrival to her family almost two years after her divorce from Tom Brady.

The Brazilian beauty, who is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Joaquim Valente, is reportedly "excited" about the pregnancy and has already begun making plans for a serene home birth.

Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend have been seeing each other since June last year, although he had already been giving her and her kids jiu-jitsu lessons long before then.

According to People Magazine, a source close to Bündchen has disclosed that she's "excited" about welcoming her first child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente and is preparing to deliver at home.

The runway queen is reportedly not in a rush to discover the gender of her new child and would instead wait until delivery to find out herself, with the source adding that she's several months along already.

"Gisele's very happy in Miami," the source shared. "She enjoys her life there. Everyone's thriving."

The insider went on to note that Bündchen feels "very lucky" to have met Valente, who started initially as her jiu-jitsu instructor before confirming their romance in March 2024, as the supermodel gushed about their "transparent" affection for each other.

"They started out as friends, but have been seriously dating for over a year," the source continued. "She's excited about the baby and feels good. She's several months along and planning a home birth."

Bündchen's new arrival will make it her third child and Valente's first, as she already shares two children with NFL star Tom Brady: son Benjamin Rein and daughter Vivian Lake.

A source initially told People that the 44-year-old Brazilian fashion model was expecting her first child with the jiu-jitsu trainer on Monday, October 28.

"Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life and they're looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family," the source said in a statement.

According to the news outlet, the couple have been dating since June 2023, although they initially denied they were an item before then.

A source told the publication in June that she has "blossomed" since her split from Brady and that she's "secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn't have time to dwell on the negatives out there."

Meanwhile, Bündchen's ex-husband, Tom Brady, has seemingly broken his silence on the news that she's expecting her first child with Valente.

The former NFL star took to his Instagram Stories on Monday night to share a song and a photo, which many think was in response to his ex-wife's pregnancy.

Brady shared a photo of a setting sun along with a clip of The Chicks' version of the Fleetwood Mac song "Landslide."

The lyrics to the song read, "Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?"
