It was a historic fight that sold over 1.2 million pay-per-views as Davis stopped Garcia in the seventh round with a body shot. Garcia dropped to a knee and the fight was over. The fight drew a sellout crowd of 20,842 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, while also generating an estimated $22.8 million (£18m) in ticket sales alone. That ranks fifth in Nevada boxing history.
