Fulham vs Arsenal predictions After a 1-1 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last Sunday, the showdown against Arsenal is Fulham’s second London derby in a matter of days.  The Cottagers followed up their well earned point against Spurs with another three on Thursday by beating Brighton 3-1 at Craven Cottage.  The defeat was only Brighton’s third of the season, and it resulted in Fulham moving up to sixth in the Premier League table, on 22 points from 14 matches.  In their last five matches Marco Silva’s team have now picked up ten points.  As well as the draw with Spurs and the win over the Seagulls on Thursday, Fulham have also defeated Brentford 2-1 at Craven Cottage, and Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park. The one negative was a surprise 4-1 home defeat to Wolves. Fulham’s Sunday opponents Arsenal, continued their good run of form with a 2-0 win over Manchester United on Wednesday.  The newly crowned King of Corners, Nicolas Jover, was the star of the show again.  Jover is the man credited with turning Arsenal into one of the top set-piece teams in Europe. And with both their goals in the win over United coming from well-rehearsed corner routines, Jover is gaining a lot of credit for the victory. Of course there is a lot more to Arsenal than just set-pieces, and it’s true that the Gunners have been in great form since the international break.  As well as helping to close the gap on Liverpool at the top of the table to seven points on Wednesday, the two goals that defeated United were Arsenal’s 14th and 15th in their last four matches.  They have been scoring for fun in recent weeks. Since the last international break, the Gunners have defeated Nottingham Forest 3-0, Sporting Lisbon 5-1 (UCL), West Ham 5-2, and now United 2-0.  And it is a much needed run of good form, after Arsenal picked up just two points from a possible 12 in the lead up to the November break. Team news is interesting this week. Reiss Nelson can’t play against his parent club.  Also missing for Fulham is the suspended Tom Cairney, while Harrison Reed and Joachim Andersen look set to miss out with injury.  The Cottagers do have Bernd Leno, Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi set to play against their former club. Arsenal are still without long term casualties Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu.  They do hope to have Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel available again, after both sat out the 2-0 win over Manchester United.  Fulham vs Arsenal betting tips. 18+ GambleAware.org – Please play responsibly. Fulham’s 4-1 home defeat to Wolves now looks like an anomaly. At the time it did feel like the beginning of a run of poor form, but the Cottagers have bounced back strongly.

⚽ Back draw or Arsenal and over 2.5 goals at 1/1 with Betfred ⚽

Both teams to score

The Gunners have kept two clean sheets in the Premier League since the November break.

But both were at the Emirates, and in their two away matches over this period, they have conceded in both.

West Ham showed that it is possible to get at Arsenal, scoring twice in their humiliating 5-2 home defeat last Saturday.

Sporting Lisbon also breached the Arsenal back line in their Champions League Matchday 5 fixture.

Furthermore, Fulham has scored in their last 15 fixtures in all competitions.

They have only failed to find the back of the net once this season, and that was in the opening weekend of the season, when they lost 1-0 to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

⚽ Back both teams to score at 4/5 with Betfred ⚽

Alex Iwobi to score anytime

This is a half hunch, half statistical-based betting tip.

It’s fair to say that Fulham have been a bit of a thorn in the side of Arsenal in recent times. So with all the former Arsenal players now plying their trade at Craven Cottage, what chance one of them comes back to haunt the Gunners this weekend?

It could well be Emile Smith-Rowe. He is well used to scoring goals from midfield, and would no doubt love to let Mikel Arteta know he made a mistake in selling the England international last summer.

Smith-Rowe is 9/2 to find the net against his former club.

Then we have Alex Iwobi. The Nigerian international left Arsenal in 2019, well before Arteta took charge of the club. The two did have a period of time together at the Emirates when Arteta was a player, so their paths have crossed.

Axel Iwobi is in good form. He has scored three goals in his last three matches, and all three came in Fulham’s two home fixtures. Iwobi has also found the net against Everton this season, his only other former Premier League club.

At 5/1, he is well worth backing to add a goal against Arsenal to his list.

⚽ Back Alex Iwobi to score against his former club Arsenal at 5/1 with Betfred ⚽
