Mark Wahlberg Cold Plunges The Morning After Christmas Festivities
Sporting navy blue shorts and showcasing his well-defined six-pack abs, the actor delivered his message with unwavering determination. "4 a.m., rain or shine. It's raining outside — we're still going plunge," Wahlberg said in the video, filmed just after he stepped out of a locker room shower.
"Nothing like a cold plunge in the rain. @thecoldlife @municipal. 4 am club," Wahlberg wrote in the accompanying caption.

Mark Wahlberg Opens Up About His Fitness Routine
Last year, the "Daddy's Home" actor spoke with People Magazine about how his gym routine has evolved over the years.
"I'm starting to realize that I'm 51 years old, I need to stay in my lane and know that I don't have to try to out-lift everybody or outwork everybody," he told the outlet. "I just have to push myself a little bit more and continue to just try to drag this beautiful life out as long as I can."
Wahlberg revealed that he's "getting more results" with his updated approach to fitness and highlighted the "smart advice" he now follows during every workout to maximize his efforts.
"I target muscle groups. I don't have to lift as heavy, but I have to have better form, a longer hold, and a longer squeeze," he added. "I just wish I would've listened to the people who were trying to tell me these things and give me this kind of advice 20 years ago."
What Drives Mark Wahlberg To Stay In Shape?
Part of what fuels Wahlberg's dedication to working out is the need to stay in peak shape for his movie roles.
"It has kind of dictated what I've been doing and how I've approached the upcoming four or five months every year for the last 20-some-odd years," he told People. "I mean, I've fluctuated my weight from 215 lbs. to 137 lbs., which is pretty extreme."
Wahlberg reflected on the 30 pounds he gained for his role in "Father Stu," admitting he would "probably not" take on such an intense physical transformation again as it "took quite a toll."
Mark Wahlberg Says Motivation Comes From Inspiring People
Beyond preparing for movie roles, Wahlberg shares that the motivation he provides to others is another key factor that keeps him committed to his fitness journey.
"I've gotten to the point where I rely on it just to be able to get up and conquer my day as a dad and a businessman," Wahlberg later told the magazine. "Just being motivated to continue to try to inspire people and utilize those talents and gifts that I've been given for whatever specific reason those gifts have been bestowed upon me."
"So obviously, my faith, my family, and my fitness are the things that everything revolves around," the "We Own The Night" actor added. "I'm just trying to train smarter."
