She enquired: “Has he expressed a desire to buy Liverpool Football Club?” “Oh yes, oh yes – but that doesn’t mean he’s buying it, you know,” Errol said. “He would like to, yes. Obviously. That is enough money to blow Liverpool’s current owners, Fenway Sports Group (FSG), out of the water. The trio are all into the last six months of their deals at Anfield, with no new ones in sight. So, a takeover by one of the world’s richest men would certainly solve that problem. And now his interest is making headlines again – thanks to his own dad.
