Eddie Hearn stops interview to accuse Frank Warren of stealing his sunbed in funny moment
Eddie Hearn sacrificed his sunbed to speak to talkSPORT. The Matchroom Boxing chief is out in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury‘s rematch this weekend and joined talkSPORT Breakfast on Friday morning beside a swimming pool at his Saudi hotel. Hearn joined talkSPORT Breakfast to preview Usyk vs Fury Before presenters, Gabby Agbonlahor and Sheban Aherne could grill him on the historic clash, Hearn pointed out talkSPORT’s Spencer Oliver and Frank Warren lounging in the background. “I mean, you’ve taken me away from the pool. Spencer Oliver, who I guess is supposed to be out working for talkSPORT, is lying there,” said Hearn as the camera panned to a shirtless Warren and Oliver lying on the sunbeds. “It’s like a scene out of ‘Sexy Beast’ with Ray Winstone, do you remember that film? “What a trip they are having. You have got Frank Warren, he took my sunbed. “Frank Warren, we used to be rivals, now we are friends and he is nicking my sunbed. “I don’t know what is going on, to be honest with you, but ready to go.” Hearn will be an enthusiastic bystander for the main event, with no promotional investment, although he does have three fighters on the undercard. The always-game Ishmael Davis has stepped in on short notice, once again, to take on hard-hitting Ukrainian Serhii Bohachuk in the co-feature attraction after Israil Madrimov withdrew from the contest due to illness. Meanwhile, Johnny Fisher is set to duke it out with former sparring partner Dave Allen. And Peter McGrail is scheduled to square off with Wales’ Rhys Edwards, who recently replaced Dennis McCann following ‘The Menace’s’ failed pre-fight drugs test. While he did, Warren stole his sunbed at their Saudi hotel At the press conference on Thursday, Fury and Usyk, engaged in an exhausting 11-minute staredown, which Hearn watched in awe. “We have three fighters on the undercard but for the main event, I’m basically a fan for. “I was in awe of the face off yesterday, just trying to analyse it myself. “Trying to send what is going on, who is feeling what, who is looking good and who is looking nervous. “But it’s so difficult at this level to really get a gauge for that. “Fury has been super focused all week, very quiet and looks a bit niggly. “Obviously, yesterday, he didn’t say much but after the 11-minute face-off off he erupted at the end. “I don’t know, I guess I like what I see. Usyk is ice cold, he is never going to change in that respect. “He looks very good, he is talking very confidently. It is just a really high-level fight, it is going to take something extraordinary to beat Usyk on Saturday night. “But Fury, in the past, has been capable of doing extraordinary things and he will have to if he is going to beat the Ukrainian in Riyadh.” talkSPORT will bring you live commentary of Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday, December 21 with our coverage kicking off from 7.30pm Watch Fury Vs Usyk 2 Live on DAZN *If you click on a link in this boxout we will earn affiliate revenue How to Watch Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 live on DAZN Get ready to rumble with Fury vs Usyk 2 live on DAZN Pay-Per-View!
