Drew Barrymore is reminiscing about one of her favorite movies with Adam Sandler.
“Throwing it back @adamsandler,” the actress, 49, captioned a Throwback Thursday Instagram picture of herself with her 50 First Dates costar, 58, on Thursday, Feb. 13.
The image showed the longtime friends sitting outdoors together on the set of the 2004 rom-com — where Barrymore played Lucy Whitmore, a woman dealing with short-term memory loss after a car accident.

Sandler portrayed Henry Roth, a man who arranged dozens of dates to help her remember. In addition to Lucy’s overprotective family and friends, Henry also had to overcome the challenges of reintroducing himself to Lucy each time they met for a date.
During a November 2024 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the talk show host revealed that her and Sandler’s daughters had recently watched the film together.
"My daughter and Adam's daughter were watching [50 First Dates] at my house the other night,” she recalled for the talk show guests Emily Osment and Montana Jordan. “I was like, 'Why are you guys watching this? Don't you get enough of me and your dad?' "
Barrymore shares daughters Olive, 12, and Frankie, 10, with ex-husband Will Kopelman, while Sandler and his wife, Jackie Sandler, are mom and dad to Sadie, 18, and Sunny, 16.
