Per The Brandon Gonez Show, a Drake lookalike contest took place in the "God's Plan" rapper's hometown of Toronto, Canada, on Saturday, Dec. 14 with the winner being given $10,000, courtesy of Champagne Papi himself.
The Casuals Cakery bakery hosting the event shared a screenshot of a conversation with Drake, 38, in which he raised the prize money.
“I’m adding 10 bands to the look alike contest,” the rapper and singer wrote. “As the main prize."
“Just give me a min to stop hyperventilating this moment. I can’t believe this is ur account and u know about this. Omg I love you,” the bakery replied.

Sharing a clip on Saturday, Dec. 14, of the many Drake lookalikes dancing to his music, The Brandon Gonez Show’s Instagram page wrote, “A Drake look-alike contest is going down in Toronto! Winner gets $10,000. Do you think these contestants resemble @champagnepapi ?#drake #lookalike.”
In the clips, many people wore their hair in cornrows, pigtails and low cuts to resemble the star’s different looks.

During the contest, the audience was tasked with making the loudest noise for whomever they thought most closely resembled Drake.
While the person in third place wore cornrows, glasses and a gray and yellow jacket, the second Drake lookalike was dressed in a bulletproof vest, sported a black T-shirt and wore his hair in cornrows.
The winning place was then given to a female fan who wore her hair in pigtails, a camouflage jacket and a sprayed-on beard.
“I just know the employees at Cloré Beauty Supply and BSW were confused at all these random individuals buying bobbles and hair clips,” one person joked in the comment section, while another added, “Legendary.”
Drake isn't the only celebrity with a recent lookalike contest. Timothée Chalamet recently made headlines for attending his own New York City lookalike contest, which took place in late October. The event got so crowded that organizer Anthony Po was fined $500 for organizing an event without a permit.
The 28-year-old actor's team caught wind of the ticket and tried to reach out.
"They offered to pay the ticket, which is truly funny," Po previously revealed to PEOPLE exclusively. Though appreciative, Po says he declined to accept Chalamet's kind offer.
The team also offered the Wonka star's take on the event.
"They basically [said] like, 'We thought it was awesome. Thanks so much,'" Po added. "It was all good and fun."
