Dakota Fanning is celebrating awards season with an award-worthy family moment!
On Monday, Jan. 6, the 30-year-old actress reflected on her experience at the 82nd annual Golden Globes this weekend by sharing a photo of her and her date: her grandmother.
"Only pic I need," Fanning captioned the photo on Instagram. "My Gaba and me."
In the image, Fanning could be seen wearing her bold red gown with matching red lip as she sat at her table next to her grandmother, who opted for a dark blazer featuring sequin flowers and plenty of silver to accessorize.
She and her grandmother also posed for a snap alongside sister Elle Fanning, 26, who attended the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Sunday.

Dakota and Elle previously confirmed in a 2019 interview with W Magazine that they referred to their grandmother as Gaba, revealing that they even wanted to start a production company together called Gaba Productions.
During a red carpet interview with E! on Sunday, Elle — who stars in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown — revealed that she and her sister got ready for the big night "all in the same room," with their grandmother joining Dakota as her date.
“I hope she wins,” Elle said at the time. “Tonight is so special.”
Dakota was nominated in the supporting female actor category for her performance as Marge Sherwood in the Netflix limited series, Ripley. The trophy ultimately went to Jessica Gunning of Baby Reindeer.
Other winners during the night included Anna Sawai, Colin Farrell, Jeremy Allen White, Hiroyuki Sanada and Jean Smart while Baby Reindeer took home the trophy for best television limited series, anthology series or motion picture made for television.
Ripley was also nominated in same category, and Dakota's costar, Andrew Scott, earned a nod in the best male actor in a limited or anthology series category.
As for the Fanning family, Elle revealed in a September 2020 Vanity Fair interview that her grandmother makes the best sweet tea, and paid tribute to her with an Instagram birthday shoutout that month. She wrote that her Gaba was “best grandma in the world” with the "world's greatest hair."
Elle and Dakota now share their own production company, Lewellen Pictures.
