There is a big swing in the weights with the winner Senior Chief from their meeting in October, and I expect that to be turned around here. He won a race equally as competitive as this at Cheltenham off just two-pound lower and on a track favouring front runners that jump well; it will be a case of ‘catch me if you can’ with Broadway Boy. If he gets into his usual jumping rhythm around Newbury, it will take a tough one to pass him over a trip, and we know that he stays well. With no ground or trip worries, Senior Chief is one runner with a lot going for him. Given a clear round, he should be nailed on for a place.
