Chris Rock brought the laughs to Saturday Night Live — with a little help from Adam Sandler.
The actor and comedian, 59, hosted the late-night comedy sketch series for the fourth time on Dec. 14, when he was joined by Gracie Abrams as musical guest.
In one sketch, Rock played a doctor performing surgery on a patient, who accidentally has their gallbladder removed instead of their appendix thanks to a mistake made by another surgeon.
At one point, the previously covered patient sits up, revealing themselves to be Sandler, 58. As he speaks with the medical staff about the mix up, blood begins shooting out of his body, covering the doctors from head to toe.
Rock and his longtime friend Sandler starred on SNL together in the 1990s. In the years since, they have costarred in multiple movies together, including 2005’s The Longest Yard, 2010’s Grown-Ups 2013's Grown-Ups 2 and 2018’s The Week Of.
